The 15th Region boys’ quarterfinals tipped off Wednesday night at the Appalachian Wireless Arena.
Lawrence County and Martin County punched their tickets to the semifinals.
Andrew Bloomfield poured in 20 points and Kaden Gillespie added 13 as the Bulldogs defeated Belfry, 65-45.
Cody Erwin led the Pirates with 16 points and Caden Woolum followed with 13.
In the nightcap, the Cardinals turned back Shelby Valley down the stretch for a 71-64 win.
Luke Hale fired in a game-high 28 points for the Cardinals. Brayden McKenzie tallied 13.
Ethan Sykes paced the wildcats with 14 points in the loss. Chaz Brown and Preston Johnson added 13 each.
