53RD DISTRICT TOURNAMENT: Cougars ‘walk-off’ to win title over Pats

Letcher Central slugger Jonah Little blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Cougars to a thrilling 5-4 win over Knott Central in the 53rd District tournament championship game played on Wednesday night.

The Cougars overcame a four-run deficit to improve to 25-10.

Winning pitcher Quinton Williams tripled and singled, walked, scored twice and batted in two runs. Aiden Fields added a hit and knocked in two runs. Dawson Kincer had an RBI single.
