HURRICANE – Tug Valley built a double-digit halftime lead and held off Van in the second half to score a 65-56 win in the sectional championship game played at Hurricane High School on Friday night.
The Panthers, now 12-12, will host Parkersburg Catholic in the Region IV co-final on Wednesday night.
Caleb May poured in a game-high 30 points for Tug Valley while Ian Reed finished with 16.
