COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Georgetown women escape UPIKE

The University of Pikeville Bears saw a four-point lead slip away in the final two minutes as Georgetown took an 80-78 game played at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Saturday.

UPIKE dropped to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in Mid-South Conference play.

Mary Englert finished with a game-high 23 points while Bailey Frazier and LeeAnna McNulty tossed in 10  each.

UPIKE travels to Montgomery, Ala., to face Faulkner University (4-3) on Nov. 26. Game time is 7 pm.
