COLLEGE BASKETBALL: UPIKE drops road game at Shawnee State

The University of Pikeville Bears fell behind by double digits in the opening half and Shawnee State University went on to score a 79-69 win on Saturday.

Teddy Parham Jr. led the Bears, now 14-9, with a game-high 29 points. Keian Worrix added 13 and Korbin Spencer followed with 11.

The Bears will return to the Appalachian Wireless Arena to battle Lindsey Wilson College (8-15) on Thursday night. Game time is 7:30 pm.
