The University of Pikeville women’s basketball team landed four players in double figure scoring but it was not enough as Lindsey Wilson topped the Bears, 63-54, in a game played in Columbia on Thursday night.
Alexis Reed tossed in 16 points to lead the balanced attack as UPIKE dropped to 9-5 and 5-5. Morgan Stamper finished with 13 while Mary Englert tallied 11 and Brianna Burbridge added 10.
The Bears return to action at Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday. Tipoff is 2 pm.
