COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Bears move to 2-0 after rout of Webber International

The University of Pikeville football Bears pulled away from Webber International and cruised to a 59-0 win on the turf at W.C. Hambley Athletic Complex on Saturday.

UPIKE, now 2-0, has scored 112 points in back-to-back home wins.

Quarterback Lee Kirkland passed for 217 yards and a pair of touchdowns, both going to Arites Clark, who hauled in five passes for 63 yards.

Running backs Alex Sanders, Adrian Medacco, Ivan Vaughn, and Jayden Neace all rushed for a score.

Christopher Dublin closed out the scoring with a 90-yard punt return with less than three minutes left.

The Bears will play at Georgetown (3-0) this coming Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1:30 pm
