University of Pikeville quarterback Trevor Wofford passed for 164 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bears to a much-needed 35-27 victory over Thomas More University in a game played at the Hambley Athletic Complex on Friday.
Wofford had TD passes of 16, 9 and 49 as the Bears snapped a two-game losing streak and moved to 1-2.
Running back Alexander Shelton rushed for 55 yards and one score and Jamarion Sanders added a rushing touchdown.
Receiver Damian Sutton hauled in three passes for 115 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Randy Ramanan added a TD reception.
UPIKE will host Cumberland University (0-4) in a 1:30 pm kickoff on March 19. It will be homecoming.
