HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Tigers fall to Admirals; JC gets past Breathitt County

Paintsville saw a three-run lead slip away as Danville rallied to hand the Tigers a 6-3 road loss on Wednesday night.

Losing pitcher Baron Ratliff blasted a home run and knocked in a pair of runs as Tigers fell to 24-9. Gunner Collins added a solo home run and scored twice. Cory Jefferson had a pair of singles.

Nathan Ritchie doubled, walked, and knocked in a pair of runs as the Cavaliers dropped to 4-19. Keegan Bentley singled and batted in a pair of runs. Austin Johnson and John Addington both scored twice.

Jonathan Banks and Devin Jude had two hits each and both drove in a pair of runs as the Pirates improved to 21-11. Wyatt Webb, Jake Varney, and Parker Hall each singled in one run.

Chase Justice was the winning pitcher.

Nick Collinsworth singled in two runs for the Bulldogs, now 25-6. Blue Fletcher doubled and singled. Braydan Maynard added two doubles. Both scored one run each. Bryce Blevins and Jake Dearfield added RBI hits.
