HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Lady Jaguars No. 1; Valley, Pikeville share No. 2

The Floyd Central Lady Jaguars are the No. 1-ranked team in this week’s Mountain Top Sports Super 7 girls’ basketball poll.

Floyd Central, 6-0, slipped ahead of Shelby Valley (4-1), which dropped into a tie for second place with 59^th District rival Pikeville (5-1).

Johnson Central has moved into the No. 4 position. The Lady Eagles are 5-1. Lawrence County (5-1) rounds out the top five. Belfry (5-1) is sixth while Martin County (4-1) is at No. 7.
