HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Valley Cats run past Belfry; Pikeville falls

Shelby Valley overcame an early deficit on the road to knock off Belfry, 59-47, in a game played on Monday night.

Ethan Skyes fired in a game-high 23 points the Wildcats moved to 3-1. Riley Phillips followed with 18 points.

Caden Woolum paced the Pirates (1-3) with 11 points. Noah Brown tossed in 10 and Jonathan Banks net nine.
