The Shelby Valley Wildcats have grabbed the No. 1 spot in the Mountain Top Sports Super 7 boys’ basketball poll.
Valley, now 4-1, edged out 59th District rival Pikeville (3-1). Johnson Central climbs to No. 3 as the Golden Eagles are 4-1.
Paintsville (2-2) is fourth, followed by Belfry (4-2), which tumbled out of the top spot.
Rounding out the poll are Lawrence County (3-1) at No. 6 while Pike Central (3-1) and East Ridge share the No. 7 position.
