HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Miners fall in road matchup with Tigers

Chapmanville Regional played keep away from Mingo Central in the second half as the Tigers turned back the Miners, 35-20, at Tiger Stadium on Friday night.

The Miners, now 3-6, were held scoreless the entire second half.

Running back Norman Kennedy finished with 151 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Quarterback Caden Porter passed for 145 yards and a touchdown. Kenneth Runyon had a TD reception.

Chapmanville running back Kohl Farmer paced the Tigers, now 3-6, with 201 yards and two touchdowns on 32 rushing attempts. Quarterback Brody Dalton ran for two touchdowns. He finished with 54yards on the ground.
