Logan quarterback Jordan Hayes passed for 249 yards and three touchdowns first-half scores as the Wildcats beat Wayne, 27-20, in a game played at Pioneer Field on Friday night.
Receiver Carson Kirk had a pair of first-half touchdown passes as the Wildcats built 1 19-0 lead at the break. Aiden Slack added a touchdown catch.
Hayes rushed for a second-half touchdown as the Wildcats improved to 3-0. It was Logan’s first win in 12 tries.
Logan visits Liberty-Raleigh on Sept. 17. Kickoff is 7:30 pm.

Winfield snapped a 10-game losing streak against as the Generals edged the Chapmanville Tigers, 28-24, at Tiger Stadium on Friday night.
Quarterback Brody Dalton rushed 26 times for 166 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 96 and as the Tigers dropped to 0-3.
Eli Pridemore returned an interception 27 yards for the Tigers first points.
Chapmanville will play at Nitro on Sept. 17.
