HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Wildcats turn back Tigers

Logan held off Chapmanville Regional in the second half and went on to beat the Tigers, 24-14, on Senior Night at Willis-Nisbet Stadium on Friday.

The Wildcats, now 6-3, beat Chapmanville for the first time since 2014.

Quarterback Jordan Hayes passed for 144 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Kolton Goldie ran for 119 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. He also hauled in a touchdown pass.

Chapmanville quarterback Brody Dalton passed for 116 yards and ran for 67 while running back Kohl Farmer had 86 yards and a touchdown on 11 rushing attempts.
