HS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Valley Kats turn back Lady Bulldogs

Shelby Valley held off Lawrence County down the stretch to score a hard-fought 60-56 win in a game played at the Dawg House on Monday night.

Alyssa Elswick led the way with for Valley, now 4-0, with 19 points and Cassidy Rowe followed with 15 while Kelsey Owens and Kyra Looney chipped in nine each.

Kensley Feltner paced the Lady Bulldogs (3-1) a game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double. Sophie Adkins added 14.
