14TH REGION TOURNAMENT: Cougars roll past Owsley: Hazard next up in semifinals

HINDMAN – Letcher Central ran out to an early lead and went on to beat Owsley County, 73-62, to advance in the boys 14th Region Tournament on Thursday night.

Dylan Webb poured in 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to finish with a double-double as the Cougars improved to 9-19. Parker Williams fired in 17 and Joby Johnson hit for 10. Isiah Adams chipped in nine.

Letcher Central will face Hazard in Sunday’s semifinals.
