WHITESBURG – Letcher Central dominated from the opening tip as the Lady Cougars rolled past Jackson City, 78-41, in the 14th Region Tournament matchup played at LCCHS Gymnasium on Tuesday night.
Kaylee Banks poured in 20 points as Central improved to 23-10. Brooklynn Collins followed with 13 while Brook Bates chipped in eight. Twelve different players inked the scorebook in the win.
The Lady Cougars advance to face Hazard (19-10) Friday night at home.
