PIKEVILLE – Martin County High School’s Brady Dingess was named the 15th Region Tournament’s most valuable player after leading the Cardinals to the school’s first-ever Sweet 16 appearance and first since Sheldon Clark won in 1983.
The Cardinals held off Lawrence County, 65-61, at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Monday night.
