Lawrence County pulled away from. Betsy Layne in the second half to score a 71-38 win in the 58thDistrict tournament semifinals played at Louisa on Monday night.
The Lady Bulldogs, now 26-5, punched their ticket to the championship game and secured a spot in the 15th Region tournament in Pikeville next week.
Miss Basketball candidate Kensley Feltner finished with a game-high 36 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. She added six steals and five assists.
Kaison Ward followed with 22 points and Sophie Adkins chipped in nine.
Jaden Pente and Haleigh Damron scored 10 points each for the Lady Cats, who finished the season at 7-21.

Floyd Central took control against Prestonsburg in the second quarter and went on to post an 82-49 win in the 58th District tournament semifinals nightcap played at Louisa on Monday night.
Madilyn Meade poured in a game-high 36 points as the Lady Jaguars advanced to the championship game. She also grabbed eight rebounds.
Kennedy Harvel finished with 12 and Chelsea Johnson tallied 10 as the Lady Jaguars improved to 19-9. Jada Johnson and Riley Compton net eight each.
Celina Mullins paced the Lady Blackcats (12-18) with 20 points.
