Belfry overcame a three-run deficit by scoring six times in the bottom of the fifth inning to knock off Pike County Central, 10-6, in the championship game played at Massey Energy Field on Wednesday night.
The Lady Pirates, now 18-14, captured the title for the first time since the 2014 season. Pike Central dropped to 15-22.
Brianna Tello had three hits, including a triple, drove in a pair of runs and scored twice to help lead the comeback. Linzee Phillips reached base three times with a pair of singles and a walk while scoring three runs and driving in a pair.
Trista Marcum singled and added a pair of RBIs while Cameron Childers tripled and scored. She batted in two runs.
Winning pitcher Molly Fahm doubled and knocked in one run.
Emalie Tackett tripled and scored for the Lady Hawks. Sydnee Lowe had two hits, one a double, and scored two runs. Hannah May added two hits, scored, and batted in one run.
Dailey Dam singled in one run and scored. Kaden Hess doubled and scored while Livia Sanders doubled and added an RBI. Emily Lawson had an RBI single.
Lilly Blackburn was the losing pitcher.
