Belfry’s Lady Pirates claimed the girls 60th District championship with a 72-38 win over Pike Central at the Hawks nest on Thursday night..
The Lady Pirates, now 20-7, won their 33rd title. The Lady Hawks fell to 9-20.
Kyera Thornsbury poured in a game-high 26 points and Kyra Justice added nine. Addison Smith and Linzee Phillips tossed in eight apiece.
Hannah May and Emalie Tacked led the Lady Hawks with 12 each.
