Magoffin County quarterback Lucas Litteral passed for four touchdowns and ran for another as the Hornets won a road thriller over Knott County Central, 38-32, in Hindman on Friday night.
Litteral had 179 yards through the air, and he ran for 117 yards on 20 carries as Magoffin County improved to 2-0.
Grayson Whitaker hauled in three passes for 63 yards and a score while Aden Barnett caught three passes for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Brad Standifer added a TD reception and Ben Lafferty had a short touchdown run.
Knott Central quarterback Kizer Slone passed for 264 yards and three touchdowns in the loss. Receiver Chuck Mullins had five catches for 163 yards and two scores.
The Hornets will travel to Bellevue (0-3) on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
