Shelby Valley arrived in Middlesboro late for their start with the Yellowjackets.
After falling behind by two touchdowns, Valley stormed back and rolled to a 50-28 win on Friday night. It was the Wildcats third straight following a season-opening loss to letcher Central.
Quarterback Russ Osborne passed for 277 yards and three touchdowns as the Wildcats improved to 3-1.
Running back Brett Sturgill ran for 108 yards and two scores while all-purpose back Brady Bentley added 109 yards and a touchdown. Bentley caught four passes for 75 yards and a score.
Receivers Kolton Stamper and John Luke Fields had a TD catch each.
Shelby Valley (3-1) faces Perry Central (2-2) this Friday. Game time is 7:30 pm.
