Lawrence County evened its district record with a 35-14 win over Magoffin County in a game played at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Field on Friday night.
Running ack Cody Crum had 18 carries for 183 yards and two scores as the Bulldogs improved to 5-2. Cavan Williams added a rushing TD. He finished with 63 yards on six rushes.
Quarterback Talon Pollock passed for 180 yards and two scores. Dalton Runyons and Crum hauled in one each.
Magoffin County’s Ian McCarty ran for a pair of scores.
Lawrence County will play at Powell County (1-6) this coming Friday. The Hornets (2-6) are idle and will play at Estill County (4-3) on Oct. 20.
