RICHMOND – Paintsville took the lead away from Harlan in the second half and went on to score a 67-60 victory to advance to the All “A” Classic State Tournament quarterfinals in a game played at McBrayer Arena on Thursday night.
The Tigers, now 10-8, will face Hazard (15-2) at 8 p.m. Friday night.
Colby Fugate poured in 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds while Nick Keeton added 20 points and 14 boards. Braxton Tharp tallied nine and Baron Ratliff chipped in eight.
