Lawrence County High School administration has announced football practice for the Bulldogs has been suspended for 14 days.
This comes after a member of the coaching staff tested positive this morning under the 15-minute rapid test.
At this time, practice may resume on Tuesday, Sept. 8, just three days prior to the season kicking off on Sept. 11 around the state.
If symptoms become evident, parents and guardians are encouraged to take their child for testing.
The coach was not involved in any back-to-back activities.
