NAUGATUCK – Tug Valley is headed back to the boys’ state tournament following a thrilling 41-38 win over Parkersburg Catholic in the Class A, Region IV co-final played on Wednesday night.
Ethan Colegrove poured in a game-high 19 points and Caleb May added 13 as the Panthers moved to 13-12.
Tug Valley, an eighth seed, will face top-seeded Williamstown (24-1) next Thursday at the Charleston Civic Center Coliseum. The Yellowjackets won the regular season match at Naugatuck, 51-49.
