HURRICANE – Tug Valley built a double-digit halftime lead and went on to beat Buffalo, 64-52, in the opening round of the Class A, Region IV, Section tournament matchup played at Hurricane High School on Tuesday night.
Caleb May fired in 24 points and Ethan Colegrove tallied 20 as the Panthers moved to 11-12 overall and advance to face Van on Friday night.
