COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Kentucky cruises past Louisville

No. 9 Kentucky went a 15-1 run midway through the opening half and the Wildcats went on to beat Louisville, 95-76, at the KFC Yum Center on Thursday night.

The Wildcats, now 9-2, landed five players in double-figure scoring for the fifth time this season.

Antonio Reeves poured in 30 points, the first UK player to reach that number against the Cardinals under Coach John Calipari.

Tre Mitchell followed with 18 points and 12 rebounds to finish with a double double. Reed sheppard had 11 points and dished out 11 assists.

Justin Edwards tossed in 13 points and Rob Dillingham added 12.

Kentucky will return to Rupp Arena to face Illinois State (8-4) on Dec. 29. Game time is 7 pm.
