COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Marshall blitzes WKU in big road win

Marshall and Western Kentucky have played a number of thrilling games throughout the series, with nail-biting endings.

Saturday night was not one of those games.

The Thundering Herd dominated from the first play from scrimmage as they rolled to a 38-14 win over the Hilltoppers in Bowling Green on Saturday night.

Running back Brenden Knox rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns as Marshall moved to 3-0.

Tavante Beckett returned a fumble 38 yards for a touchdown while Sheldon Evans added a rushing touchdown.

Marshall will play at Louisiana Tech (3-1) next Saturday. Kickoff is set for 6pm.
