There was no late-inning comeback in the cards for Lawrence County as Paducah-Tilghman claimed the Kentucky 2A state tournament championship with a 14-2 win over the Bulldogs at Shifley Park in Owensboro on Saturday.
Luke Patton blasted s solo home run in the loss. Eli Fletcher singled and scored while Blue Fletcher reached base twice on a pair of walks.
Bryce Blevins was the losing pitcher.
