Lawrence County jumped out to an early lead and the Bulldogs went on to beat Franklin-Simpson, 7-3, in the Cal Ripken Experience game played at Myrtle Beach on Sunday afternoon.
Abner Collinsworth doubled in one run and scored while Will Lafferty singled in one run. Braydan Maynard doubled, walked, and scored twice.
