Belfry overcame a big first-quarter deficit to beat East Ridge, 77-66, in the season opener played on Tuesday night.
Jonathan Banks finished with 21 points and 18 rebounds for a double-double. Eric Daniels followed with 11 points and 10 boards while Cody Erwin added 10 points and dished out 15n assists. Noah Brown had 19 points.
Brad Howell paced the Warriors (2-2) with 17 points. Isaiah Adkins tallied 12 while Zack Mason and Braxton Stanley net 10 each.

Lawrence County senior standout Kensley Feltner poured in a game-high 43 points to power the Lady Bulldogs to a 73-60 road win over Letcher Central on Tuesday night.
She hit 11-of-15 two-point field goals, was 3-for-3 from the arc and added 13 rebounds for a double-double.
Feltner’s performance moved her past all-time great Timmy Dalton into first place as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 3,241 points
Sophie Adkins added 14 points and Kaison Ward chipped in eight.
