The Johnson Central Golden Eagles have made their way to the top of the latest Mountain Top Sports boys’ Super 7 basketball poll released on Tuesday.
Johnson Central, now 7-1, was followed by Pike County Central (4-1) at No. 2. The Hawks are followed by Pikeville at No. 3. The Panthers (5-3) edged out Shelby Valley (6-3).
Rounding out the top seven are Magoffin County (6-3) at No. 5, followed by Martin County (4-4) and Belfry (4-3).
Receiving votes this week were East Ridge, Betsy Layne, Letcher Central and Lawrence County.
