Johnson Central’s seven-game winning streak has landed the Lady Eagles on top in the latest Mountain Top Sports girls’ Super 7 basketball poll released on Tuesday.
Johnson Central, now 14-2, are followed by Pikeville (16-4). The Lady Panthers are ahead of No. 3 Floyd Central, now 16-4. Belfry, now 14-6, is fourth.
Rounding out the poll are Shelby Valley (11-5) in fifth, followed by Paintsville (9-6) in sixth and Lawrence County (12-9) is seventh.
Martin County and Letcher Central received votes.
