Lawrence County’s second-half comeback effort against Rowan County came up short as the Lady Bulldogs fell 58-53 in the Kentucky 2A Sectional tournament championship game played at home on Sunday.
Kensley Feltner paced the Lady Bulldogs (11-4) with a game-high 31 points. Sophie Adkins chipped in seven.

Kensley Feltner stripped the nets for a game-high 41 points. Kaison Ward followed with 15.
Jada Johnson led the Lady Jaguars (10-4) with 16 points and Kennedy Harvel followed with 14. Natalie Holle added 11 and Kamryn Shannon tallied eight.
