HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Lady Jags remain No. 1; JC, Pikeville follow

The Floyd Central Lady Jaguars hold down the No. 1 spot in the latest Mountain Top Sports girls’ Super 7 basketball poll released on Tuesday.

Floyd Central, now 11-1, is followed by Johnson Central (9-2). The Lady Eagles edged out Pikeville. The Lady Panthers, now 9-4, are third, ahead of Shelby Valley (6-3) in fourth.

Belfry (9-5) is fifth, followed by Lawrence County. The Lady Bulldogs (8-6) are just ahead of No. 7 Martin County (8-5).
