Pikeville used a big start to the second half to pull away and beat Betsy Layne, 70-54, in the championship game of the PIT played at T.W. Oliver Memorial Gymnasium on Wednesday night.
Laithan Hall led the Panthers, now 8-0, with 24 points, including seven treys. Keian Worrix finished with 17 and Nick Robinson added 14.
Brady Robinson paced the Bobcats with 19 points and Jordan Frazier tallied 13 as the Bobcats dropped to 6-2.
