Pikeville and Betsy Layne scored semifinal-round wins in the boys’ 15th Region All ‘A’ Classic tournament at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Friday night.
The Panthers and Bobcats will meet at 7 pm tonight with the winner moving on to the state tournament at Eastern Kentucky University on Jan. 27.

Pikeville landed three players in double-figure scoring as the Panthers moved on with a 69-47 win over Martin County.
Rylee Samons poured in 20 points as the Panthers improved to 13-1. Keian Worrix followed with 19 and Nick Robinson tossed in 10.
Brady Dingess led all scorers with 25 points for the Cardinals.

Betsy Layne’s Jordan Frazier was a perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line, including 12 in the final quarter, to lift the Bobcats to a 48-42 win over East Ridge.
Chase Mims finished with 12 as Betsy Layne improved to 12-3.
Braxton Stanley paced the Warriors (10-6) with 14 and Jonathan Mills tossed in 11.
