Shelby Valley built a big halftime lead against Martin County and cruised into the girls’ 15th Region All A Classic semifinals with a 59-37 win at the Appalachian Wireless Arena on Wednesday night.
Alyssa Elswick finished with a double-double, scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Cassidy Rowe added with 18 points and dished out nine assists. Jazzy Meade chipped in nine.
Katie Marcum scored a game-high 20 points in the loss.
