Forget about the 0-5 start for Belfry against arguably one of the toughest schedules statewide.
The past four weeks the Pirates have cut through district opponents like a knife through butter.
Running back Isaac Dixon ran for 95 yards on just four carries and three touchdowns to lead Belfry to a 58-8 win over Pike County Central in the district matchup played at the Hawks Nest on Friday night.
Caden Woolum added a pair of rushing touchdowns as the Pirates moved to 4-5.
Quarterback Tayvian Boykins scored Central’s lone touchdown early in the opening period. Boykins finished with 80 yards on 11 rushing attempts.
Belfry scored the game’s final 58 points.
