Betsy Layne overcame a halftime deficit to rally past East Ridge, 60-38, in a district game played at the Reservation on Friday night.
The Bobcats, now 7-0, trailed 30-22 at the break before outscoring the Warriors 38-8 over the final two quarters.
Running back Andrew McCutcheon carried 18 times for 132 yards and four touchdowns. Dylon Williams had 61 yards and two scores on eight attempts.
Quarterback Carter Parsons passed for 205 yards and two touchdowns – one each to McCutcheon and Williams.
East Ridge running back Isaiah Adkins finished with 208 yards and two touchdowns while Hayden Perkins had 63 yards and 16 carries and scored twice. Steven Layne added a rushing touchdown.
Both teams return to district play this coming Friday as the Bobcats visit Shelby Valley (4-3) while the Warriors (3-4) play at Pike Central ( 5-2). Both games will kick off at 7:30 pm.
