HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Bulldogs outmanned in loss to Raceland

Class 1A power Raceland shut down an injured-riddled Lawrence County offense as the Rams rolled to a 32-7 win at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Field on Friday night.

The Bulldogs lone score came in the game’s final minute as Will McDavid scored on a one-yard run.

Running back Dylan Ferguson was held to just 46 yards on 12 rushing attempts.

Lawrence County, now 8-2, will host East Carter (6-4) in the opening round of the Class 3A playoffs on Friday night. The Bulldogs beat the Raiders on the road during the regular season.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
