HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Bulldogs rally past Lions

Lawrence County’s defense shut down Boyd County in the second half as the Bulldogs came from behind to edge the Lions, 13-10, in a game played on Friday night.

Running back Dylan Ferguson ran for 91 yards on 17 carries and two touchdowns, including the game-winner on a one-yard run late in the third period.

Ryan Marcum rushed for 100 yards on 10 attempts as the Bulldogs moved to 5-1.

The Bulldogs will host Pike central (2-4) on Thursday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
