HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Bulldogs roll past Hornets

Lawrence County dominated from the opening kickoff as the Bulldogs scored a 43-14 win over previously unbeaten Magoffin County in a game played at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Field on Friday night.

Running back Blue Fletcher rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on just six carries. Douglas Hall added two rushing scores. He had 60 yards on six attempts.

Quarterback Alex Strickland and running back Dylan Ferguson added one touchdown each as the Bulldogs improved to 4-0.

Magoffin County receiver Aden Barnett had three catches for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Lucas Litteral passed for 186 yards and two scores.

The Hornets dropped to 3-1.
