Lawrence County went on the road to Rowan County and the Bulldogs open the season with an impressive 34-14 win in Morehead on Friday night.
Quarterback Luke Fetherholf passed for 120 yards and two touchdowns to Dalton Runyons and Logan Ratliff.
Running back Cody Crum finished with 169 yards on 17 carries and one score. William McDavid added 116 yards on 16 carries.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will return to action on Friday night when they host the Shelby Valley Wildcats (0-1. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
