HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Bulldogs stay unbeaten with win over Russell

Lawrence County took the lead away Russell in the second quarter and the Bulldogs went on to earn a 39-28 win over the Red Devils on Friday night.

Quarterback Alex Strickland rushed 144 on 10 carries and one touchdown as the Bulldogs moved to 3-0. He also passed for 106 yards and one TD pass. Strickland returned an interception for a touchdown.

Running back Dylan Ferguson finished with 111 yards on the ground and three rushing scores. Receiver Kaden Gillispie hauled in two passes for 82 yards and a touchdown.
