Martin County forced three turnovers and the Cardinals held Paintsville to just a field goal in a 27-3 win at Memorial Field on Friday night.
The Cardinals snapped a two-game losing streak and moved to 2-2 while the Tigers dropped to 1-3.
Running back Aiden Horn ran for 57 yards and three touchdowns while Brock Messer had 147 yards on 22 rushes to help set up the scoring drives.
Devan Maynard ran twice for 50 yards and a score.
Martin County will go to Magoffin County (0-4) on Friday night. Game time is 7:30 pm. Paintsville is idle this week before playing at Leslie County on Sept. 22.
