Johnson Central has regained the top spot in the latest Mountain Top Sports Super 7 football poll released on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles (3-2) moved ahead of No. 2 Pikeville following the Panthers road loss at Lexington Christian.
Letcher Central, now 4-1, climbed one spot following a home win over Perry Central to third. Lawrence County, which was sidelined last week because of COVID restrictions, was down one spot to fourth. The Bulldogs are 4-1.
Betsy Layne (6-0) is fifth after beating Phelps on the road. Rounding out the poll are Prestonsburg (4-2) at No. 6, followed by Martin County (4-3).
Receiving votes are Paintsville (2-3) and Belfry (1-5).
